Final Thoughts on COP 24

When we first got to the conference 5 days ago, it was this big overwhelming thing and we had no idea what to expect or where to go. The first day was spent learning our way around and finding our footing at this international conference. As the days past, we adjusted to the flow of things and the overwhelming amount of information we had access to. People started to find their interests, go to side events, and learn things that we wouldn't learn at school. We went to many different kinds of meetings touching on varying topics, but all having connecting points. People learned about health, just transition, food, water, sports, coal, education, youth, women, and so much more. Our group even got the incredible opportunity to see Al Gore speak. We connected with people from all around the world. People seemed to be very intrigued and interested in our opinions and knowledge as youth who are inheriting the future of our planet. Navigating this conference was an exciting challenge. The
